Dr. Peter Case BDSc (Hons I) DClinDent (Endo)
Dr Peter Case completed his BDSc from the University of Queensland in 2001, then a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics in 2009. Peter was a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Australian Navy, serving as the Fleet Dental Surgeon. After spending much of his naval career at sea, he was providing endodontic treatment to military personnel from all areas of eastern Australia and was one of the senior clinical mentors for the junior Dental Officers of the Australian Defence Force.
Whilst maintaining a full time Military commitment, Peter also worked part-time in the Park Street practice of Sydney Endodontists. Peter commenced full time with Sydney Endodontists on his discharge from the Navy June 2014. Peter is the President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (NSW). Peter is also the Secretary of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists.
He is particularly interested in the areas of orofacial pain diagnosis, dental radiology and surgical endodontics. Peter has published research in the field of root canal disinfection using Ozone gas in an international peer reviewed scientific journal.
Maintaining knowledge in current endodontic research is paramount to Peter’s practice. As such he regularly attends continuing professional development seminars. Peter lectures at both local and international endodontic conferences.
In his leisure time, Peter enjoys travelling, photography, endurance sports and spending time with his family.
